چکیده

In material extrusion (MatEx) additive manufacturing, solid polymer filaments are fed into extruders to generate extrudates that needed build 3D plastic parts. There is a finite gap between the inner surface of an extruder and edge filament, which facilitates insertion translation filament inside extruder. It still not clear how this filled during extrusion. On other hand, it important know information, for example, model distributions temperature pressure work, gap-filling processes Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) Polylactic Acid (PLA) were directly observed through heated glass tube. The tube functioned as in our case. A criterion was first developed determine whether at specific location then different combinations temperatures feed rates. ABS PLA filaments, consisted colors, custom-made aid observation. Although were, respectively, amorphous semi-crystalline polymers, both materials, we found: i) three steps initial stage extrusion; ii) level depended on rate; iii) there no noticeable difference when started with empty or resumed after printing had been paused.

HOMOTOPY PERTURBATION METHOD FOR SOLVING FLOW IN THE EXTRUSION PROCESSES

In this paper, the homotopy perturbation method (HPM) is considered for finding approximate solutions of two-dimensional viscous flow. This technique provides a sequence of functions which converges to the exact solution of the problem. The HPM does not need a small parameters in the equations, but; the perturbation method depends on small parameter assumption and the obtained results. In most ...

Mechatronic Design for an Extrusion-Based Additive Manufacturing Machine

3D printers, especially in the implementation of innovative extrusion processes which do not have a long history of development, are often built by adapting mechanical designs, drives and controls previously developed for generic machine tools. This is done through a process of choice and integration which is based principally on empirical criteria and taking into account separately the differe...

A Novel Extrusion-based Additive Manufacturing Process for Ceramic Parts

An extrusion-based additive manufacturing process, called the Ceramic On-Demand Extrusion (CODE) process, for producing three-dimensional ceramic components with near theoretical density is introduced in this paper. In this process, an aqueous paste of ceramic particles with a very low binder content (<1 vol%) is extruded through a moving nozzle at room temperature. After a layer is deposited, ...
